Case Studies
National Union of Food, Beverage, and Tobacco Employees (NUFBTE)
Challenge
NUFBTE wanted to build practical AI capability among its staff and members, helping participants with varying levels of technical experience understand how emerging AI tools could support workplace productivity, problem-solving and decision-making.
CRIA Intervention
CRIA designed and delivered a two-day hands-on AI and digital productivity programme covering AI fundamentals, prompt engineering, workflow automation and practical workplace applications. The programme combined guided learning, practical exercises and pre/post-training assessment.
Core Value / Innovation
Making AI practical for the workplace. The programme moved participants beyond general awareness by giving them opportunities to use AI tools themselves and apply the learning to real professional scenarios.
Target Audience
23 selected NUFBTE staff and members in Lagos, representing working professionals across the food, beverage and tobacco sector.
Outcome
Participants completed a practical introduction to AI and digital productivity, with recorded improvement between baseline and endline assessments. Post-training reporting recorded a 91% expectation rating, while participants demonstrated practical use of prompting, automation and AI-enabled problem-solving.
